風雲變色...
2分鐘前天朗氣清,
2分鐘後聽到"bang"一聲嚇到我彈起,
跟住就開始大風大雨行雷閃電...
o係屋企影出街,
d雨吹到打橫飛...

    utter tripe son! the guards do trooping the colour because they HOLD the "colour" in question, so they troop it. the QCS are clearly not shit as they are world renowned for their drill, as are the Guards Regiments. Test Pilot/Navy Seal! HAHAHA! Feckin Walt!!

    @AmersfoortTristan I think they were influenced by the British style because Hong Kong used to be under the control of the British for a long time. Pretty interesting, eh? :]

    Visited HK 7 years ago. Recently talking with a friend toured HK. All agree people in HK are rude and unfriendly. Especailly to none white tourist. This is another example of identity issue of HKese: who are you? Chinese or Brits? Make up your mind? I won't call it multi-culturalism. Still what is HK Air Cadets?

    • @alvindurochermtl
      @alvindurochermtl 2 роки тому

      Speaking of being rude. Your condescending view and comment towards the people of an entire city aside, has it occurred to you that it might in fact be your own intellectual downfall that you need to squeeze Hong Kong squarely into either Chinese or Brits but nothing else in between. For years HK has been a regional hub in many things, precisely because it's at the crossroad amongst and between many things. Regardless of your narrow notion or definition of what HK ought to be, the place and its people do not and will not correspond with your unilateral coercion of a "either or" identity, whether you like it or not. The Japanese culture has elements that aren't distinctively or uniquely or natively Japanese, and Canada has elements that are between the US, French, and Britain. Entities like that have always existed. You think it's cultural indecisiveness in their part, that says more about your ignorance than those entities themselves. I for one would like to know what you're from to be so culturally pure. In case you're not aware, Singaporeans are pretty passive aggressive and xenophobic to outsiders as well on social media.

  • @VxMAX

    @Timjuh Because they are a former commonwealth state. Theoretically speaking they aren't fully under Chinese government. Hong Kong is a special administration. Therefore it keeps some of its things (i.e. the noticeable commonwealth march). The march song has changed though. It used to be R.A.F. March past to that.

    As a Royal Canadian Army Cadet i have to say that the Chinese precision added in with the British style drill is completely flawless and perfect, well done! The only thing that drew my attention was the M16 (C7) riffles that they're carrying in the drill, we usually use cemented Lee-Enfields No7's. C/Cpl Dubois 1955 (14) Calgary Service Battalion RCACC

    letmeusethisnamenow : I disagree with your 'new cadets are the most annoying' policy, you clearly weren't a great cadet if you go around criticising other 'new cadets [which goes against the ATC ethos btw], I'm a Cpl and I've still got 5 years of teaching cds ahead of me unlike your 2 years teaching exp [also head of school RAF CCF -though the doesnt mean much lol. New cdts are new and can be scared on their first night, its the job of the NCOs to look after them, not insult them. muppet.

    trooping the colour is an event held since 1805 to mark the sovereigns birthday, on the parade are the household division. the qcs would not attend as they are not part of the household division, this is because they are part of the royal air force, formed in 1918, after the household division. however as a way to show there importance amongst the other raf regiment squadrons there were given the honour of carrying the queens colour, hence the name. now shut up and get on with your pathetic life

    Sapper Hutch if you were really a SEAL, you wouldn't be using a UK Engineer nickname as a handle and more importantly you wouldn't be broadcasting the fact on a public forum. Stop being a walt and keep your worthless opinions to yourself. The QCS are superior to any other military body when it comes to drill, and this is from someone who served in a different arm of the services.

    The Rifle utilised is the Enfield L85A2 Modified by Heckler and Koch. Its not a 98 because wheres the huge great cocking handle, and it has a SUSAT. Its an A2 Variation because it has the "tear drop" handle which you can see them hook on their belt and recock the weapon when they slow march. It Fires 5.56mm Rounds as is NATO Standard.
